Ecofrec TF49 is a halogen-free, no-clean, high-viscosity tacky flux. It is designed for both lead-free and leaded soldering, and leaves a clear, colourless residue.

Clean, Reliable Residue

TF49 leaves a transparent, colourless and non-corrosive residue. As a result, no cleaning is needed after soldering.

It is free of halides (fluoride, chloride and bromide) and halogens. In addition, it passes SIR (IPC), copper mirror and chromate paper tests, plus a Bono test at 85°C and 85% humidity for 15 days.

Excellent Wetting

The flux wets well on a wide range of PCB finishes, including Ni/Au, Sn, Ag, HAL and OSP. So you get consistent joints across different boards.

Apply It Your Way

You can apply TF49 by dispensing, dipping, brushing or stencil printing. Its high viscosity (300 to 500 Pa·s at 20°C) holds parts in place until they solder.

It also works with soldering irons, hot gas, hot bar, IR and convection ovens, and vapour phase reflow.

Pack Sizes and Storage

TF49 comes in 10g and 30g syringes, 300g cartridges, and 100g and 500g jars. Store it at 20°C to 30°C for a shelf life of 18 months.
