Thermasolv IM6 is a high-purity dielectric heat transfer fluid from Inventec Performance Chemicals. It suits two-phase immersion and direct cooling, and offers excellent water stability.
Key Features of Thermasolv IM6
- Dielectric strength 79 kV
- GWP of just 1
- Perfect for two-phase immersion
What Is Thermasolv IM6 Used For?
Its main use is two-phase immersion cooling. In addition, it suits cold plate or tube direct cooling, dielectric testing and specialised manufacturing cooling.
Does Thermasolv IM6 Handle Water Contact?
Yes. It offers excellent water stability, so it suits systems with a high chance of water contact. This sets it apart from Thermasolv IM2, which we do not recommend for those setups.
Outstanding Electrical Insulation
Dielectric strength reaches 79 kV, with resistivity of 1.00E+15 Ohm-cm. As a result, equipment can run under power while fully submerged.
Efficient Heat Transfer
Thermal conductivity of 0.110 W/m-K gives strong heat transfer. In addition, a boiling point of 47°C, a pour point of -117°C and low viscosity (0.36 cSt at 20°C) support efficient two-phase performance.
Why Choose Thermasolv IM6?
It has a GWP of just 1 and zero ODP, and it carries Inventec’s Greenway designation. Also, it is non-flammable and non-toxic. Moreover, you can recycle used fluid through the Ecoprogram. Therefore, it is a sustainable, high-performance immersion fluid.
