With the ability to store an unlimited number of bond programs, the Series 86 Wire Bonder offers extremely adaptable bond settings, loop shapes, force and power profiles for a wide range of bonding tasks. Its pattern recognition system is the most powerful on the market, paired with innovative software that streamlines programming and repeatable production runs.
Optional CO2 snow blasting is available for contamination removal at battery cell contacts, offering a fast, gentle cleaning step before each bonding operation using a jet nozzle, JetBox, and high-pressure CO2 gas from a standard gas tank. An optional extensible bonding table is also available as an alternative to the standard component holder, making it easier to load and unload large or heavy components outside the machine, with a generous pattern of tapped mounting holes for flexible locking options. The table can also be rotated 180° to allow loading from either the front or back of the machine.
