A Safer Alternative to Perchloroethylene
This transparent, colorless solvent contains no aromatics or halogenated compounds. Thanks to its high flash point, it is non-flammable for transport. It also has low toxicity, no ozone depletion potential (ODP) and a low global warming potential (GWP).
What Does Topklean MC 20D Clean?
It dissolves hydrocarbon oils and greases very effectively. Moreover, it works with all metals, glasses, ceramics and many plastics. Typical uses include oil and grease removal from industrial parts, cutting oil removal from titanium dental implants, and aerospace cleaning.
Immersion or Vapor Phase
You can use Topklean MC 20D in immersion or vapor phase cleaning. Afterwards, vacuum drying for 5–10 minutes leaves parts free of residual solvent. In addition, ultrasonic assistance works well with the immersion process.
