Promosolv Neo B2 is a non-flammable vapor phase mono-solvent cleaner from Inventec Performance Chemicals, developed as a drop-in replacement for trichlorethylene, NPB and other solvents, offering equivalent degreasing power with substantially reduced HSE impact. It is marketed as a replacement for 3M Novec 73DE, which is being phased out by the end of 2025.

Promosolv Neo B2 has a global warming potential (GWP) of 29. Although fully in line with safety and environmental regulations, it does not meet Inventec’s strict criteria to be labelled a Greenway product (GW-Score 36); Inventec offers Promosolv Neo B1 as the more sustainable Greenway alternative.

- Removal of some varnishes, adhesives, inks and paints, depending on polymerization
Promosolv Neo B2 is purified to greater than 99.0% by weight, with a fluorinated mixture content above 10% and 1,2-transdichloroethylene content above 70%. Compatibility reports for use with different materials are available from Inventec on request.
