What Does Promosolv DE4 Clean?
It removes reflowed flux residues and contaminants in vapor phase cleaning. Typical applications include PCBAs, power modules, lead frames, BGAs, PoP and SIP applications, and LED assemblies.
Deep Cleaning Under Low Stand-Off Parts
Low surface tension lets the solvent rinse deep under low stand-off components. Moreover, it supports short cleaning, rinsing and drying times. Drying in DE4 vapor takes just 5–60 seconds.
Is Promosolv DE4 Compatible With My Parts?
It is compatible with all metals, including sensitive types, and most plastics and elastomers. However, we recommend validating it on your parts before use.
Low HSE Impact
This solvent has no flash point and keeps its flammability suppression during equipment use. It also has zero ODP, a low GWP and very low toxicity. In addition, purity is above 99.5%, with isopropanol below 3% by weight.
Recycling and Bath-Life
Because it is thermally and chemically stable, it supports continuous recycling and a long bath-life. As a result, solvent consumption drops. You can also return used product for recycling and re-use through Inventec’s Ecoprogram.
