How Is Promosolv 70IS DT Different From 70IS?
It shares many properties with standard Promosolv 70IS. However, the AD70 additive gives stronger cleaning on stubborn residues. For that reason, use it only in the cleaning tank, then rinse parts with standard Promosolv 70IS.
What Does Promosolv 70IS DT Clean?
It removes reflowed flux residues and contaminants in vapor phase processes. Typical applications include PCBA defluxing, power modules, lead frames, BGA, PoP and SIP assemblies, and LED assemblies.
Deep Rinsing, Stable Performance
Low surface tension allows deep rinsing under low stand-off components. The isopropanol content also makes it less prone to water absorption in humid conditions. In addition, it stays thermally and chemically stable in use.
Safety and Environmental Profile
It offers excellent flammability suppression, with no flash point. Purity is above 99.5%, with isopropanol below 3% by weight. It also has a GWP of 91, no ODP and very low toxicity.
