The AM100 is a versatile SMT assembly machine that delivers high productivity and high versatility. It inherits various units and functions from Panasonic’s NPM series of high-speed mounters. As a result, it achieves high-quality placement while balancing productivity and versatility. It also supports a wide range of components, large-capacity component supply sections, and large PCBs. Consequently, its machine configurations and options provide the optimal line for all types of production.

Small-Lot Production and Long PCB Support

For small-lot production, the AM100 offers a manually setting tray feeder option (2 trays). As a result, you can supply pallet parts without reducing the number of rear feeder supply positions. In addition, you can place up to 10 kinds of small-cut paper or embossed tape components on a pallet in a tray for production. Furthermore, the single conveyor long PCB specification expands PCB length capability up to 1,500mm by dividing long PCBs into two mounting areas and sliding lengthwise.

High-Quality Placement

First, the Multi-recognition Camera V2 supports high-quality placement on the AM100. Also, it’s the same camera used in Panasonic’s NPM-X high-speed mounter series, available in up to Type 2 or Type 3 configurations. Type 2 and Type 3 measure component thickness and reflect the result in placement height for improved stability. Meanwhile, they also confirm standing and diagonal placement for micro components simultaneously, and perform periodic nozzle tip checks.
