The AM100 is a modular mounter built for the pursuit of net productivity and high versatility. Inheriting various units and functions from Panasonic’s NPM series of high-speed mounters, the AM100 achieves high-quality placement while balancing high productivity and versatility. In addition to supporting a wide range of components, large-capacity component supply sections and large PCBs, the combination of machine configurations and options provides the optimal line for all types of production.
For small-lot production, the AM100 offers a manually setting tray feeder option (2 trays), allowing pallet parts to be supplied without reducing the number of rear feeder supply positions. Up to 10 kinds of small-cut paper or embossed tape components can be placed on a pallet in a tray for production. The single conveyor long PCB specification also expands PCB length capability up to 1,500mm by dividing long PCBs into two mounting areas and sliding lengthwise.
High quality placement on the AM100 is supported by the Multi-recognition Camera V2, the same camera used in Panasonic’s NPM-X high-speed mounter series, available in up to Type 2 or Type 3 configurations. Type 2/3 measures component thickness and reflects the result in placement height for improved stability, with simultaneous confirmation of standing and diagonal placement for micro components and periodic nozzle tip checks.
