The NPM-D3A is a production modular built for high-speed, high-precision mounting. By adopting the lightweight 16 nozzle head V3A, a multi-recognition camera, and a high-rigidity frame, the NPM-D3A simultaneously achieves improved area productivity and high-precision placement. Its dual placement method allows for fully independent placement, while the machine configuration is 2-head, with the components supply section able to be combined with a 17-slot cart and tray feeder.
To prevent mounting defects due to component setting errors, the NPM-D3A includes a built-in LCR checker, which measures the electrical characteristics of components before placement. Stable measurement is achieved by holding the component’s posture and position with an adhesive material, while pressing down with a metal lever enables highly accurate measurement regardless of the nozzle used.
To maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (O.E.E.), the optional APC-5M system monitors and analyses unit conditions in real time, enabling predictive maintenance and reducing errors from unmaintained equipment. The NPM-D3A also integrates with inspection machines through the APC System (APC-FF/APC-MFB2) for variation control in solder printing and component placement. Skill-less, labour-saving features include remote error recovery operation and AOI information display directly on the machine screen when quality errors occur, helping reduce dependence on specific workers and improve productivity.
