The 5850 HR is a high-performance, fully automatic heavy ribbon bondhead optimized for the automated production of power inverters and electric vehicle battery systems. Engineered for high-current applications, this head facilitates the bonding of aluminum ribbons up to 2 mm in width with a massive programmable bond force of up to 6,000 cN. It utilizes advanced force and power ramps to maintain joint integrity and features an active ribbon guide that ensures perfect, repeatable loop shaping during high-speed automated cycles. The head is equipped with Deformation Limit Control (DLC) for rigorous process monitoring and is easily convertible from a standard 5850 heavy wire head if required.
