Process2Wipe IPA70 sterile wipes (12″ × 12″) deliver a pre-saturated 70% USP Isopropyl Alcohol and 30% Water for Injection solution. As a result, they provide a ready-to-use option for cleaning and disinfecting critical surfaces in controlled and cleanroom environments. Notably, the 12″ × 12″ wipes use 100% continuous filament knitted polyester, specifically to provide high cleanliness and absorbency. In addition, the knitted construction helps entrap particulates, residues and foreign matter within the webbing while providing resistance to abrasion and picking.

Ready-to-Use Sterile Cleanroom Wipes
Moreover, Process2Wipe IPA70 sterile wipes offer a ready-to-use format, pre-saturated with VAI®’s 70% USP Isopropyl Alcohol and 30% USP Water for Injection solution. Because the pre-saturated format controls chemical use, it helps reduce costs compared with using trigger sprayers or gallon pour bottles. As a result, operators can use the wipes for aseptic and non-aseptic wipe downs of filling and packaging machinery, stainless steel surfaces, Lexan, polycarbonate, glass and other critical surfaces requiring cleaning.
12″ × 12″ Knitted Polyester Construction
In particular, we manufacture the 12″ × 12″ Process2Wipe® IPA70 wipe from 100% continuous filament knitted polyester. Indeed, we specifically designed the material to provide high cleanliness and absorbency for critical cleaning applications. Furthermore, the knitted construction and pattern help entrap particulates, residues and foreign matter within the wipe webbing. The construction also provides resistance to abrasion and picking, supporting cleaning performance and product integrity during use.

Cleanroom Manufacturing and Sterility
First, we launder and package Process2Wipe® wipes in ISO 4 conditions before closed filling them in an ISO 7 cleanroom (Grade B). As a result, gamma irradiation terminally sterilizes the wipes to a 10-6 sterility assurance level, in line with our broader range of gamma irradiated wipes. We filter the 70% USP Isopropyl Alcohol and 30% USP Water for Injection solution at 0.2 microns. Additionally, we fully trace each lot, testing sterility according to the current USP compendium and validating shelf life. Finally, we deliver each lot with lot-specific analytical, irradiation, conformance, sterility and LAL data tested to the current USP compendium.
ABCD Cleanroom Introduction System®
Process2Wipe® sterile wipes are available using the ABCD Cleanroom Introduction System®, a packaging system that allows operators to take the package through each level of classified areas by removing one bag at a time. As a result, each bag acts as a barrier to help protect the finished product from becoming a carrier of viable and non-viable contamination. Two outer bags contain sterilized groups of containers, while two easy-tear bags additionally contain individual containers.
Peel and Reseal Packaging
Likewise, we package the wipes in opaque, ported, peel and reseal style bags. Because of this design, the peel and reseal packaging allows continued use after opening while helping maintain the controlled packaging environment. Subsequently, we double-bag package each sterile wiper bag, making it available through the ABCD Cleanroom Introduction System® for easy introduction into core and other critical environments.

Low Shedding and Particulate Control
Thus, the knitted polyester construction supports cleanroom cleaning performance while minimising the release of fibres and particulates. To maintain this standard, we launder the wipes in ISO 4 conditions to ensure cleanliness and manufacture and package them under controlled cleanroom conditions.
Disinfection Performance
Specifically, independent testing evaluated Process2Wipe® IPA70 for bactericidal and yeasticidal activity using mechanical action on non-porous surfaces according to EN 16615:2015. As a result, testing demonstrated a reduction of at least 5 log against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterococcus hirae, and at least 4 log against Candida albicans and Staphylococcus aureus at the neat concentration after 2 minutes of contact under the specified test conditions.
Application Instructions
- Clean and dry surfaces prior to disinfection.
- Only use wet wipes.
- Remove one wipe at a time.
- Make sure the surface is completely wetted.
- Allow the product to take effect for at least 2 minutes.
- Discard the wipe after use in a closed container.
- Close the package after opening.
Overall, operators may use the product multiple times per day if required, and the specified contact time is 2 minutes.
